About the role

Your responsibilities:

• Support our goal of automating our IT infrastructure and processes
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions
• Monitor and optimize cloud-based systems in terms of performance, scalability, and reliability
• Guide and mentor junior team members
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and services to improve the efficiency, security, and reliability of the cloud infrastructure
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and services
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based systems
• Create technical architectures using the Azure platform
• Independently contribute to task planning and progress management
• Participate in requirements discussions and provide feedback on inconsistencies

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional IT experience preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a CloudOps environment or a comparable field, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Experience managing cloud-based applications
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with production-grade microservices and distributed system architectures
• Good understanding of networking paradigms and protocol stacks
• Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure automation in general
• Professional working proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog)
• Experience with software build process tools
• Experience administering Linux operating systems
• Professional working proficiency in German

Compensation range

B2B contract: 125 - 172 PLN net/hour

Employment contract: 17 500 - 24 100 PLN gross
